Update: Information about coronavirus and our servicesPosted by Sian Prescott, 18th March, 2020
Following the latest information from the government, we will be making some changes to our services.
These changes are to protect both you as a BVT customer and our staff and to ensure we can continue to provide our most essential services.
- Closing our nursing homes, Sellywood House and Redditch Road, and Bournville House in Telford to all but absolute essential visitors to protect some of our most vulnerable residents and closing our museum, Selly Manor, in response to falling visitor numbers and cancelled school trips.
- Restricting access to our offices (350 Bournville Lane and Cherry Tree House) and other places of work to essential visitors only to minimise the spread of the virus and to protect you as a customer and our staff.
- Cancelling non-essential face-to-face meetings with you and looking at different ways of holding these meetings. For example, we may call you instead of visiting you at home.
- Asking you to tell us if you are self-isolating or exhibiting symptoms of the coronavirus when you book a repair with us. Our repairs service is currently operating as normal.
As you will appreciate the situation is changing very quickly and we understand that you may have a lot of questions.
We will be issuing more detailed information, including details about our wider community response, and would ask for your patience and understanding whilst we prepare this.
