Apply to make an alteration

To submit an application for an alteration to your home, please complete our online application form.

If you have any issues completing the form, you can contact our estate officers who will be able to support you.

The application form allows you to submit plans, drawings and photographs. You can also view the status of your application. It’s an open and transparent system, so you and fellow residents can see what is and isn’t approved.

We also suggest contacting us to discuss your alteration before you submit it, as we can help to ensure your plans meet our guidance. You can call us on 01952 898524 or email lawleystewardship@bvt.org.uk. Our office is open Monday to Friday, but you can also request a meeting or call in the evening/weekend at a time to suit you.

If you want to make an alteration to the outside of your home, garden or any land within your property boundary, you can also do this through the application form.

The process for applications can be found in the Lawley Village Design Guide.

In many cases approval decisions are straight forward, especially if you get advice before submitting an application.

If you submit an application and it is refused, you can submit an appeal within 28 days of the date of the decision letter.

You can find further details on the appeal process on page 24 of the Lawley Village Design Guide

All applications are submitted through our website

You can see the progress of your application on our Property Portal.
